Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in large parts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were wounded while residents in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and encountered problems to water supplies, according to local authorities.

At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by local officials.

He said that 450 drones and several dozen rockets struck energy facilities, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Russia was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were working to fix the damage.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and residential structures in Kyiv.
